Academic Programs and Courses

Thank you for your interest in Brooklyn College's Television and Radio Department. We offer an array of classes covering the all facets of electronic media- from theory to practice. We seek to cultivate our students with a deep understanding of media and a proficiency in its' use. Research development and applied electronic media production are key elements of the department's programs.

The department offers Bachelor's degrees in Television and Radio (B.A.) and Broadcast Journalism (B.S.), as well as Master's degrees in Media Studies (M.S.) and Television Production (M.F.A.).

Brooklyn College's Television and Radio Department welcomes transfer students, international students and adults who have interrupted or delayed their studies to pursue careers or care for their families.
