A workshop combining literary and technical skills. In-depth analysis of scenes from critically acclaimed adaptations of literary and dramatic texts. Principles and techniques of directing adaptation for television. Students learn elements of all phases of production: research and interpretation, working with actors, studio production techniques, teleplay director's craft, editing and mixing sound in multi-camera live environment and post production. Students direct their own interpretation of a script provided by professor. For the final common class project students choose one production position, according to their interests and skills.
