Commencement Exercises

The Brooklyn College Television Center and the Department of Television and Radio again join forces to mount a live production of the most important day in the academic calendar--graduation day. This year, Brooklyn College starts a new tradition by splitting commencement into two separate ceremonies. Graduate students will have their own Commencement Exercises on May 30th, while undergraduates will be honored on May 31st.

87th Graduate Commencement Exercises, May 30th, 2012, 2:00pm AND 7:00pm

This year's production will utilize five cameras in Whitman Hall and a crew of staff and students, to bring all the sprit of the evening gala direct to your computer desktop. The procession begins at approximately 2:00pm and 7:00pm EDT. Watch early to enjoy shots of the beautiful Brooklyn campus, and interviews with students and alumni!

The production for the undergraduates too will utilize five cameras but it will be on and around the main quad. We are proud to assemble a crew of dedicated staff and students, to bring all the excitement and atmosphere of the day direct to your computer desktop. The procession begins at approximately 10.30 am EDT. Watch early to enjoy shots of the beautiful Brooklyn campus, and interviews with students and alumni!
